Harrison Network to deliver workshop at Conference Cumbria 2025

Cumbria Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce Lucy Harrison and Heather Grisedale as speakers for Conference Cumbria!

Cumbria Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce another addition to its Conference Cumbria line-up: Lucy Harrison and Heather Grisedale from the Harrison Network!

Since founding Harrison Network in Keswick in 2014, Lucy Harrison and her team have worked across a range of industries, from emergency services to global retail, helping clients develop leadership, improve performance, and build cultures that thrive.

A strategic, organisational and executive coach and facilitator, Lucy has helped shift cultures in some of the toughest places to work on earth. Her bestselling book ‘Soft Skills for Tough Jobs’ published in 2022 shares her unique, practical approach to driving change through conversation.

Heather is a specialist in improving workplace experience for both employees and customers, working within distribution, manufacturing, tourism and construction industries. She has a knack for supporting leaders to build a better people experience and deliver tangible business benefits.

At Conference Cumbria 2025, Lucy and Heather will deliver a workshop called ‘Building a culture of performance – making work a little less sh*t’. Based on the idea that people form the backbone of any business and how those people feel about a business has a huge impact on its success, the workshop will explore how to improve the working environment in your business to get the most out of your people. Lucy and Heather will explore…

  • How to turn ‘just doing the job’ into ‘going the extra mile’
  • What is the value of your values? Are they words on a wall or a rallying cry?
  • Why culture drives performance, and the impact of poor company cultures

Lesley Robinson, Head of Business Support at Cumbria Chamber of Commerce said: “We can’t wait to hear from Lucy and Heather at Conference Cumbria this year. Creating a winning company culture and getting the most out of your people, is vital for any business that wants to take action to seize opportunities – which is exactly what this year’s theme, ‘Make it Happen’, is all about. With tickets selling fast, we’d urge everyone to book now to avoid disappointment!”

Taking place on 2nd October 2025 at Derwent Pencil Museum in Keswick and featuring keynote speaker Sara Davies, Conference Cumbria is expected to attract over 300 people from business across Cumbria and further afield.

Tickets can be purchased via the Chamber’s website here: https://my.cumbriachamber.co.uk/calendar_detail.html?eid=369B52DD-0750-4BC3-8B7A-3DB14EF7D30C.
