Exporting your product or service can be a great way to grow your business. But it may seem very daunting and you may be unsure if exporting is the right path for you and your business.


Filling a current gap in provision, we’re seeking expressions of interest from businesses of all sizes and sectors interested in accessing our new chargeable export consultancy service.


This new service will support potential, new, scaling up and established exporters, offering support on the topics set out below.

We’ll also be offering sector specific support to food & drink businesses.

Training topics currently being offered include: letters of credit, exporting documentation, customs procedures and working with agents and distributors.

This will be a joined up, 360 and bespoke service with no limit on the number of hours available to you. It will be delivered through a mixture of online and in-person, with an initial conversation to discuss your needs and plan your package of support.

Consultancy support will led by Martyn Staveley, who has over 15 years of International trade experience covering a wide range of sectors and geographies including:

His sector experience covers Engineering, Consumer Products, Food and Drink and many others.

He will be working with a network of associates who support the export journey, some with sector specific knowledge and others with specific knowledge of a country and its market.

Martin will be supported by Business Development & Export Consulting Expert Rodothea (Rose) Moraiti

Rodothea Moraiti is a business development specialist with expertise in international market expansion, strategic consulting, and cross-cultural project management, particularly in the food and beverage industry. She helps organisations navigate global markets, connecting businesses, academic institutions, and government bodies to foster growth and innovation.

She has held key roles at Grace Foods UK, where she drove international growth, and Kinetic Cubed, leading business development strategies, trade missions, and global partnerships across South Korea, Singapore, and Northern Europe. Her work has helped SMEs expand internationally and increase sales.

Rodothea holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Thessaly, Greece, and a Master’s in Advertising and Marketing from the University of Leeds. Her research focused on food marketing, particularly the impact of national identity on food reputation during the Greek economic crisis. She also holds a CIM-accredited Diploma in Events Management, reinforcing her expertise in international trade events.

She has delivered high-profile projects for the Welsh Government, the Canadian Government, and the State of Maryland, successfully leading trade missions, virtual matchmaking events, and industry showcases to support global business growth.

Charging will be:

£75 an hour +VAT for potential and new exporters

£85 +VAT for scale up and established exporters
