Cumbria Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the appointment of its new board member, Melanie Thomson of David Allen.
Melanie is a Chartered Accountant at David Allen where she’s worked for over 11 years, specialising in corporate entities and assisting clients in the day-to-day running of their business, compliance and accounting software.
Melanie moved to Cumbria from Middlesbrough in 1999 to train as a Chartered Accountant. She had no connection to Cumbria before moving but has since settled in and loves living here.
On joining the Chamber Board Melanie said: “I want to join the board to give something back to Cumbria and to make a difference in the community. I am looking forward to building new relationships and using my skills and experience to make a difference to local businesses. I also want to expand my experience and take on a new challenge.”
