Cumbria Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the appointment of Emily Bennett as its new Policy Executive.
Emily joined the Chamber earlier this month and will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s policy work, helping to represent the voice of businesses across Cumbria and influence decision-making at both regional and national levels.
Bringing a background in policy, Emily will work closely with members to understand the challenges and opportunities they face, ensuring their views are effectively communicated to policymakers.
Emily Bennett said:
“I’m delighted to have joined the Cumbria Chamber of Commerce as Policy Executive earlier this month. Everyone at the Chamber has been incredibly welcoming and supportive, which has made for a great start. With my background in policy, I’m looking forward to working closely with members and helping to represent and advocate for Cumbrian businesses.”
Suzanne Caldwell, Managing Director of Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, added:
“We’re delighted to welcome Emily to the team. Her experience and enthusiasm will be a valuable asset as we continue to strengthen our policy work and ensure the voice of Cumbria’s business community is heard effectively.”
