Lakes College is a community college with a track record of delivering quality training and education in West Cumbria for more than 20 years.

We provide further and higher education in technical training and skills to help you to progress in the world of work, whether you are taking your first steps, looking to progress or exploring a change of career.

Our expansive curriculum has something for everyone, from full-time and part-time courses to apprenticeships, short courses and degree-level learning in a huge range of subjects.

We work closely with more than 700 employer partners to make sure our programmes match Cumbria’s workforce needs.

Our Services Include

  • Full time: Hundreds of courses available to study
  • T-Levels: A two-year qualification, equivalent to three A-levels
  • A-Levels: post-16 education in Cumbria, offering A Levels, vocational qualifications and university preparation for students across West Cumbria.
