We are pleased to announce the launch of our 2026 Cumbria Business Survey in partnership with Cumbria Combined Authority.
The survey explores the issues affecting businesses across Cumbria, including growth, productivity, innovation, skills and recruitment, AI adoption, funding, net zero and trade.
Feedback from this survey will help shape future business support, skills provision and economic development priorities, and will inform discussions with the Mayor, Combined Authority and help us represent the interests of Cumbrian businesses with other key stakeholders.

Suzanne Caldwell, Managing Director at Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, said:
“With Mayoral election coming to Cumbria in May 2027, now is the time to make sure business voices are heard. This survey will give us a clear picture of what businesses across Cumbria are dealing with, from innovation, AI, skills and recruitment to funding and trade.
“The results will help us build strong evidence to make the case for Cumbrian businesses to the incoming Mayor and to advocate for their interests at a local and national level.”
